End of year evaluation

we had to do a end of year evaluation about our highlights, what we need to improve on and what we enjoyed.

We had to make a comic in groups we learnt facts and made our own comic ours is a anime and Pokemon combined comic.

10. There we're 14 cars on display 6 are sold how many are left

We had to make 10 math problems about any topics it was fun because we were allowed to use are own topics for the questions.

Camp Raglan Was Usual Enough

Camp Raglan was usual enough it had

A lake, a kitchen, a playground, a sky

Over it, and even a hammock

Which I went to often. My friends my school and I

Did what we do- Have fun in the camp, used air rifles, eat food

Hid like mice while playing spotlight in bushes,

Hoping not to get found, shot some arrows, shot a rifle

Ate chocolate muffins, went down a flying fox, and did the burma trail

This week in reading my group focused on tokelauan people and the culture I learnt a lot like who to count to ten and different words they speak.

Camp Raglan Mystery

The crew just pulled up onto the side of the road to realise “this is not what I expected” said james “it's so ugly” said kal “I Think it's cool, there are heaps of bushes” said james. “ I can send you back home you know” said the teacher annoyed. “ok go to your cabin I hope you had lunch cause you're going straight to a game” he continued when they we're walking they saw the maintenance guy he was really ugly they thought he was up to no good “ok, you need to get to one side to the other without falling of” said the instructor. Once they finished that they headed to there cabin “what do you think he was doing” said chase “cleaning like he's meant to” said james sounding sarcastic “in the night let's follow him” said kal “yea not creepy at all” said james “but let's go it anyway” he continued . It was the darkest hour of the night (PITCH BLACK) and they saw the maintenance guy holding a lantern “let's follow him” said james “yep” said kal the teacher saw them and told them to go to there cabin but they didn't listen and ran following the maintenance guy he looked behind him and didn't see anything. He entered a secret pathway and the crew followed him “chase give me a torch” said kal “ok” said chase “it's not here” he said “where is it” said kal someone don't want use to be here” said james “let's go” said kal they kept on walking and got to a door and they opened the door inside there was a treasure box with stuff inside and the maintenance guy was cleaning it he said “I have to do it, or i will die”. So then they took the treasure later to find out it was DIRT. then the maintenance guy because he wasn't doing his job got incinerated. “WOW” said kal




We are going to camp for the next three days. we wrote some narrative writing about camp.

CRAFT MARKET

The Craft Market

our school had a craft market on Friday, my class sold soap and flubber soap which is like soap but feels like play dough we sold pamper packs and lip scrub

The Twits Writing

Mr twit the dumb: he is an ugly, unpleasant, idiotic person, he has a big, fat beard with food like cheese and sardines he is a twit( kinda in his name). He loves pulling pranks on Mrs twit as well he is really gruesome. He is as ugly as a (no idea) maybe a dog who won the world's ugliest dog competition and is a big nincompoop he only cares about himself and is a cannibal and loves bird pie and he should wash his beard because it is so unhygienic. His beard is a ugly dinosaur(best metaphor i could come up with).

Mrs Twit the dumber(that makes sense right): glass eyed freak who has a gun which shoots 50 bullets with one shot who had enough time to actually get worms from the ground and make them spaghetti she is ugly, unpleasant, and definitely should get divorced with Mr Twit she has crazy hair which is like an electrocuted lion’s mane standing on end. She actually believed that she was shrinking when she could've just checked her height every day which just goes to show that she as dumb as you think( CrAzY, RiGhT) very, very,very, very, very , very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very ugly and I mean it when i say it.

Roald Dahl

because of Roald Dahl's birthday coming up my class is focusing on his books. I learnt all his books his first book and top five bestselling books.

Reflection of our CookBook

From making our cookbook I have learnt… adding up costs, how to make a recipe, working out costs, learning about the Vocab, a consumer is just like costumer, how to get records of our finances, make sure everything is spelt correctly and make sure it makes sense while writing my favorite recipe and make sure it looks visually appealing so people will make the recipe and buy the cookbook.

this week my group were  learning  about the Zika Virus and bird flu I made a piktochart and this is what I made I learnt  that the Zika virus gives baby's small heads and is FATAL.

I did an author study for reading. I have learnt that Margaret mahy had 2 cats and one dog and lots moreand she loves writing and reading.

Painting The Town

For reading my group read a book and we had to make a presentation about the book painting the town it takes place in Christchurch, NZ. I learnt that there is lots of paintings around Christchurch and that lots of people made them like Tess Sheerin and Wayne Youle.

Time Management Slide

We had to make a check list about time management in buddies of 2 to 4 and this is what me and my buddie made, we made this because it will show other students in the senior syndicate how to manage ether time.

Poster For ANZAC Day

For writing we had to make a poster about ANZAC day on piktochart I learnt lots of stuff like more than 11,000 ANZACs died and 23,000 were wounded after the battle in WW1.  

What I Have Learnt About Fractions

Over the week I have been learning about fractions and I had to make a slides or docs about what I have learnt,like that you need two numbers and a line the top number is called a numerator and the bottom number is a denominator.

Have A Go Day

Yesterday we had a have a go day we played rippa rugby,turbo touch,futsal(modified version of football),hand ball and ultimate frisbee. I liked it because we got to try new sports but my favourite one was futsal because we got to take the ball off the opposite team and shoot goals

The history of the papakura marae

For reading my group had to make a slide show about the papakura marae, so I made this one.I learnt that I learnt that the marae's construction started in 1978 and lots of other things.

Time Management

First European Settlers

Rico and I made a slide show about early settlers in New Zealand. We found out that Captain Cook actually discovered NZ and it wasn't Abel Tasman who actually sailed to NZ first but he didn't actually set foot and claim NZ.
